Having been nominated by two of her patients and one of her collaborating physicians, Agnes was the recipient of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners State Award for Excellence for Arizona, 2004.

Active member of the Central Arizona Nurse Practitioner Council, Chapter 9, Arizona Nurses' Association.

Appointed in 2003 to sit for a two year term on the Advanced Practice Committee of the Arizona State Board of Nursing and re-appointed in 2005 for another two year term.
