Collaborating Physicians
When
I was in private practice, Agi joined us as our nurse practitioner.
For six years (1995-2001) I had the opportunity to grow quite comfortable
with her knowledge base and assessment skills and her ability to
recognize the limits of her scope of practice. For those reasons
I am very pleased to serve as her physician collaborator. What this
means is that when Agi has a question or concern about one of her
patients she can consult with me for medical advice and direction.
In this way, patients are assured of getting the same type of care
they would receive as if they were seeing her in a physician owned
practice.

Agi
worked side by side with me and my partner from 1995 to 2001 in
our Ahwatukee medical practice. Early on in that time it became
clear that Agi was competent, caring and professional and would
need little guidance or supervision on our part. Her patients are
lucky to have her and I have no hesitation in acting as a collaborating
physician providing medical input if she comes to me with questions.
The most amazing thing about Agi is that even though she's been
in medicine and nursing a number of years, she still loves it!!!
