Having been nominated by two of her patients and one of her collaborating physicians, Agnes was the recipient of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners State Award for Excellence for Arizona, 2004.

Agnes has been reappointed every two years since 2003 to serve as a member of the Advanced Practice Committee of the Arizona State Board of Nursing.
