Mission Statement
The purpose of New Paths to Healthcare, L.L.C. is to meet the medical
and nursing needs of the community by providing primary health care
at a level consistent with the standards and education of a Certified
Adult Nurse Practitioner.
What is a Nurse Practitioner?
A nurse practitioner is a Baccalaureate prepared registered
nurse who has completed a Masters level advanced education
and clinical training. Nurse practitioners serve as health care
providers for children and adults during health and illness and
practice under the rules and regulations of the Nurse Practice Act
of the state in which they work. In Arizona, Nurse Practitioners
are licensed to practice independently, without direct physician
supervision. Nurse practitioners provide cost effective, quality
care with a unique approach and utilize physician collaborators
as patient needs demand.
Health Education
All medical, psychosocial and nursing problems are addressed to the
extent required and commensurate with the patient's level of need
and understanding.
Health Screening
All patients are informed of their personal risks for medical problems
and those interested in modifying these risks will be apprised of
the means available to do so according to accepted medical guidelines.
Patients not interested will be encouraged on an on-going basis.
Episodic Care
Typical nurse practitioner standards of care are followed to manage
the full spectrum of medical and nursing problems that present to
any primary care setting.
