Holism
At New Paths to Healthcare, L.L.C. the word holistic has
two meanings: first, it means the openness to accept alternative
approaches to complement traditional medical treatment plans.
Secondly, it also means that the patient is considered a bio-psycho-social
being so that the treatment plan reflects attention to physical,
emotional and social matters. |

Standards
All medical care is derived from accepted Nurse Practitioner
protocols as well as standards put forth from various national
medical specialty groups as well as adherence health insurance
guidelines. The scope of practice for Nurse Practitioners in
Arizona allows a nurse who has been educated and certified in
an advanced practice role to function independently without
direct supervision of a physician. Having been a Nurse Practitioner
since 1980, my approach to patients at New Paths to Healthcare,
L.L.C. and the quality of care I offer is no different then
the care I provided while employed in physician managed offices.
However, whenever necessary I am able to consult with my collaborating
physicians at any time and I am able to refer to physician specialists
should the need arise. Rest assured that as my patient you will
receive quality medical and nursing care, attention to detail
and timely follow-up. Characteristics that have been lost in
todays health care system. |
